Dear TVPFHA Members,
We have an exciting year planned in 2017 with horse shows, trail rides, participation in parades and breed demonstrations, and we need you. Thank you to everyone who has renewed their memberships for 2017. If you have not renewed your membership, please do so as soon as you can.
Our love of our fabulous Paso Fino horses is our common bond no matter whether we trail ride, show or a combination of both. The support that you give TVPFHA is greatly appreciated. We need each and every one of you. Your input, thoughts and ideas are very important to our continued success. Your TVPFHA officers and board of directors want to meet your needs as a member, so please do not hesitate to contact me or anyone on the board to give us suggestions, or other ideas on how we can continue to improve and promote our horses.
We will be sharing more about our upcoming events in our newsletters and emails. One event that is just around the corner is the Southern Equine Expo at the Miller Arena in Murfreesboro on February 24-26, 2017. At this event, we will have the opportunity to demonstrate some of our best Paso Fino horses to attendees. In addition, Michael Gascon will be one of the featured clinicians participating in the colt starting contest. Other activities include a Memorial Day weekend trail ride being organized by Hollis Gammon, the Germantown Charity Horse Show June 7-11, 2917 in Memphis, and our Volunteer Spirit Show August 18-20, 2917 in Murfreesboro. We’d also be interested in displaying horses in parades, like the Nashville Christmas Parade, where some of us rode in December 2016. We would also like to organize some educational meetings. I hope that you can see that our goal is to have fun and learn together.
